mini-yodaYou’re dressing up, so why can’t they huh? This is such a big tradition for hound Halloween Americans even have a parade just to show their costumes off at the Haute Dog Howl’ oween parade

There is a surprising amount of dog costumes on the net so whether it is an event, Halloween, dog party or just for fun get your doggy looking a bit crazy with some of these:

Costume Craze -  this is a great site for all the kinds of outfits people would wear. They really go to town on the detail and also have a sale section.  The outfits are around $5 to $20 (USA).

Urban Pup – This is mainly a day to day dog fashion site even with spring trends for 2009. However for Halloween they have hell hound T-shirts in different designs at $27.75 AUD. While these are a bit more plain than costume craze there is less that can go wrong and I’m guessing they’re a bit comfier for your little devil as well.royalty

Spoilt Rotten Doggies- This site has a wide range of dog accessories for those who love their dogs as much as themselves.  In the costume section though you can even buy dog and human matching outfits, dog bride and groom outfits and cartoon characters, my favourite being Sponge Bob Square Pants.

Toy Zone – They even have them on Toy Zone! While there is only 8 to choose from you can pick up something for the kids and your puppy ad save on postage and packaging. They have outfits including a slightly disturbing cheerleader and an equally funny Yoda. Your much loved ball of hair may not see the funny side being dressed up as a hot dog though…dog-costumes

Glamour Dog -  has also gone for the cheerleader look with pricier costumes around $20 to $30 (USA). Some of these outfits are loveable, some hilarious and some verging on the insane.
