These Dogs Need Your Help!

The thing about the Dog Diaries community is that it is full of kind people who love dogs. And now, we’re hoping that this community can help us solve a problem and extend that love to a few dogs who are in desperate need of some love and care.

Our friends at No Kill Pet Rescue have two pooches who have had a run of hard luck and need foster carers or forever homes urgently. Time is running out for Pinta, a 2 year old Staffy cross and Holly, an 8 year old English Staffy.

These dogs are free to a good home, or if you can’t commit to being their forever home, they would benefit from someone who is able to care for one of them as a foster carer until the right home comes along.
Pinta is described by her foster carer as a loving, intelligent and cuddly dog who responds well to commands. She is a little timid as she has had a rough start in life, and needs to be in a house without other dogs as she is afraid of them and gets distressed and snappy. Typical of some staffies, Pinta wants her human cuddles all to herself and would be over the moon to find herself part of a human family. Holly is a quiet, elderly lady with a stellar personality. Like Pinta, she needs to be in a one-dog home as she’s getting on in years and likes her people all to herself—but never have you seen a dog who loves people so much. With a typical staffy smile, Holly is a constant source of amusement to her current carer as she waddles around the house, thinking she’s one of the family.
